NCS 2016 Summer Programme
The summer programme is a great way to spend part of your summer. It runs for approximately three weeks with various start dates in June, July and August.
Part 1: (residential) During Part 1 of the programme young people work together and get active- staying at a residential centre and taking part in a range of outdoor activities like abseiling, kayaking, hiking, rock-climbing and more.
Part 2: (residential) Working with a skills practitioner, young people gain skills in a particular area whilst discovering more about the local community.
Part 3: (non-residential) Is a chance for young people to make their mark! After meeting a charity or community organisation the team come up with ideas for a project to make a difference before having the chance to present their project to a panel of professionals and gain feedback.
The dates below include the overall dates for Part 1 and Part 2 of the programme, however the dates for Part 3 may vary and will be updated shortly.
