A Leader training young people before their abseiling experience on NCS Personal Challenge

National Citizen Service (NCS) is a government-funded programme that brings together 15 – 17 year olds from a diverse range of backgrounds to make a difference in their community. Young people get the chance to meet new people, make lifelong friends and gain new skills for their CV.

In Summer 2016, we mentored, challenged and inspired 38,000 young people on their NCS journey. Our 2017 programme will be the largest yet and will require the motivation and support of over 4,500 seasonal staff to bring the programme to life and ensure its lasting impact.
